Description: The RevertAid™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit is a complete system for efficient synthesis of first strand cDNA from RNA templates. The kit is suitable for synthesis of cDNA up to 13 kb. The kit uses RevertAid™ Reverse Transcriptase which has lower RNase H activity compared to AMV reverse transcriptase. The recombinant RiboLock™ RNase Inhibitor, supplied with the kit, effectively protects RNA template from degradation. It is fully compatible with reverse transcription reaction, as it maintains activity at temperatures up to 55 °C.

Description: The Maxima™ SYBR® Green/Fluorescein qPCR Master Mix (2X) is a ready to use solution optimised for quantitative real time PCR and two-step real time RT-PCR on most real time PCR machines. The master mix includes Maxima™ hot start Taq DNA polymerase and dNTPs in an optimised PCR buffer. It contains SYBR® Green I dye and is supplemented with fluorescein passive reference dye. Fluorescein is included into the master mix to serve as an internal reference for normalisation
of the SYBR Green I fluorescent signal between different wells to compensate for any instrument or pipetting variation. dUTP is included in the mix for optional carryover contamination control using uracil-DNA glycosylase (UDG)*. Description: RevertAid™ H Minus Reverse Transcriptase (RT) is a genetically modified M-MuLV RT. It differs from the M-MuLV RT by its structure and catalytic properties. The enzyme possesses an RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent polymerase activity, but lacks RNase H activity due to point mutation in the RNase H domain. RevertAid™ H Minus Reverse Transcriptase does not degrade RNA in RNA-DNA hybrids during synthesis of the first strand cDNA and therefore high yields of full-length cDNA from long templates are obtained. RevertAid™ H Minus Reverse Transcriptase maintains activity over a wide temperature range (42 to 55 °C), which makes the enzyme an ideal tool for reverse transcription of RNAs having a high degree of secondary structure.
